The shop is what Alberta Bounty looks like once it’s real. Getting there is shorter than it looks. Here is the whole path, one small step at a time.

Make one box this week.
Buy the goods retail, that’s fine for a sample. Pick the box you’d most like to give, lay it in wood wool, tie it with twine, and see how it feels in your hands.
Photograph it by a window.
Soft morning light, lid leaning on the side. Then swap your photo in for the picture here, and the shop starts to look like yours.
Ask three makers about wholesale.
Ask what they’d charge you for 10 at a time. That one number tells you what each box really costs, and what it should sell for.
Eric moves this into a shop you run yourself.
It goes onto Squarespace, so you can change prices and photos from your phone, whenever you like.

Take your first holiday orders.
Start with people you know, plus one realtor or one company. Ten boxes out the door and Alberta Bounty is a business.
